Missoula and Surrounding Areas

Missoula Area….  Not only does Montana offer the lifestyle you might be seeking or the scenery that is truly a masterpiece but it also is home to several college towns where you will find the spirit of the local football team running deep in the veins of the sports enthusiast.  Missoula is home to the University of Montana and the beloved Grizzly Football team.  Missoula is the larger city in this corner of the state with a population of close to 72,000.  Missoula offers most of the amenities, shopping and entertainment opportunities a person might be seeking.  Missoula does offer the South Town Mall, several movie theaters, a couple of golf courses, many of the major box stores and grocery chains, a good variety of restaurants and two larger hospitals.

Several rivers run into Missoula including the Clark Fork, the Bitterroot  and  the Blackfoot Rivers.  This and the five mountain ranges that all come together near Missoula give Montana residents an abundance of opportunities for fishing, kayaking, floating, hiking, hunting and outdoor recreation.   Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Lake Coeur d’Alene, Lake Pend Oreille, Georgetown Lake and West Yellowstone are all within a days travel.  The nightlife in Missoula offers endless entertainment during the summer months along with a number of outdoor concerts.
Missoula also offers an International Airport making it very accessible for friends, family and business professionals.
